Sutherland Shire Freemasons at Darling Island
On Wednesday 28th October, 2015 Sutherland Shire Freemasons supported the harbourside event organised by 2GB at Doltone House, Darling Island.
The Federal Treasurer and the member for Cook MP Scott Morrison, NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione, NRL Footy legend Darryl “The Big Marn” Brohman and actress Maria Venuti were among VIPs at the luncheon.
‘‘What we are doing here today is we are giving back just a little bit of what you have given to all of us for years and years,’’ said 2GB talkback host Alan Jones.
Having spent the past several months recovering in a brain rehab unit after overcoming life-threatening injuries Glenn Wheeler was still full of humour and passion and thanked all who came to support him in his recovery.
